The big-hearted and ever-inspiring Gena Jaffe of connecting rainbows allowed me to share a few words about transgender assisted reproduction and fertility preservation on her blog (below): Trans Parents and Assisted Reproduction.

Gena founded connecting rainbows to connect LGBTQ+ families with attorneys and fertility specialists throughout the US and Canada who specifically serve their needs when starting, expanding, and protecting their families. Connecting rainbows shares a growing library of resources to assist individuals in understanding and navigating complicated topics related to growing and protecting LGBTQ+ families.

"Being a member of the LGBTQ+ community comes with enough hurdles – keeping your family together and safe shouldn’t be one of them."

- Gena Jaffe, connecting rainbows

Special thanks to Dr. Ben Lannon of Boston IVF in South Portland, Maine, for sharing his expertise and always providing answers to my endless questions regarding assisted reproduction and fertility preservation.
